The 2080-LC20-20QBB from Allen-Bradley is a versatile and small member of the Micro 820 20-Point Programmable Logic Controller series, created to satisfy the requirements of remote automation projects and control applications. This programmable controller, which is a component of Bulletin 2080, excels as a Remote Terminal Unit, particularly for equipment with TCP and Modbus RTU capability. With a FAT32/16 microSD slot, it has data management capabilities that allow for easy program transfers and the storing of substantial amounts of data for data logging and recipe management. Its built-in Real-Time Clock, which does away with batteries, is a noteworthy feature. Additionally, it provides support for up to four thermistor temperature inputs. Beyond remote applications, this PLC may function as a standalone direct digital controller, finding use in building management systems. The 2080-LC20-20QBB supports up to twelve 24 Volt AC or DC inputs and four flexible shared 0 to 10 Volt analog inputs in terms of inputs and outputs. It has one 0 to 10 Volt analog output in addition to seven 24 Volt DC SRC outputs. This controller has two plug-in slots and a 5 KHz PWM output that makes precise control possible.
