The Allen-Bradley MessageView display terminals are industrial display and control devices designed for data transmission, system monitoring, and system control applications in industrial environments. MessageView terminals are often used in manufacturing applications. These terminals incorporate VFDs or Vacuum Fluorescent Displays, and terminals are available with 1, 2, or 4-line display screens. The high-resolution VFD screens on the MessageView display terminals are easy to read in different lighting conditions, and they support effective data presentation and message displays. The terminals support simplified programming and configuration processes. The MessageView terminals are also available with multiple communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, and DH-485 communication protocols that allow them to be used in different systems. The MessageView terminals also support a Historical Event Stack feature that records messages based on specific attributes and timestamps. This feature is useful for monitoring and archiving events and alarms, and it facilitates diagnostics and troubleshooting processes. The MessageView terminals support RS-232 and RS-485 connectivity for seamless compatibility with various industrial control systems and equipment, and this makes them easy to integrate into existing systems. The MessageView terminals also have multilingual support. With robust NEMA 4/4X-rated enclosures, these terminals are engineered to endure a variety of industrial conditions, and they are resistant to moderate amounts of moisture and dust. Several of the MessageView display terminals can store 4,096 messages. Several are powered by DC voltage.
