Allen-Bradley's 2094-BC02-M02-M component belongs to the Kinetix 6200 series; the 2094-BC02-M02-M is an integrated power axis module (IAM) with a built-in converter and inverter circuitry. This module is a crucial component of the Kinetix system, as it contains an integrated Safe speed monitor. The 2094-BC02-M02-M drive is intended to offer integrated motion capabilities for motor or drive applications. The drive can seamlessly transition from safe torque off mode to safe speed monitor mode, as well as from the SERCOS interface to EtherNet/IP networks. The embedded safety feature of the 2094-BC02-M02-M eliminates the need for additional panel space and wiring for an external safety monitor. The secure speed monitor mode enables maintenance to be performed without stopping the machine. Additionally, the modular design and embedded safety features of the 2094-BC02-M02-M drive facilitate maintenance and increase its adaptability. Further, it simplifies wiring, reduces spare parts inventory, and can be modified as technology advances. With its safe speed feature, it reduces downtime, energy, and production waste and increases operating efficiency. There is zero speed, switch control, maximum speed, safe acceleration, safe direction and door monitoring capabilities, and controlling system featured. The 2094-BC02-M02-M has enhanced diagnostic capabilities that display error messages to indicate malfunctions. This module is powered by class 400 volts AC input power. The 15 kilowatts converter section of the 2094-BC02-M02-M dissipates 44 watts of heat at 20% load, while the inverter section dissipates 72 watts of heat at half-load condition. The rated power output of this converter power module is 36 to 75 watts at 20% load to full-load state.
