The Allen-Bradley 2094-BSP2 Kinetix 6000 module is a shunt module designed for applications with multi-axis servo drives from the Kinetix 6000 series. It is compatible with 230V and 460V-rated Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo drives. It can be mounted on a Kinetix Bulletin 2094 series power rail, and it is used in applications that exceed the shunt capacities of the axis modules and integrated axis modules in a drive system. This shunt module offers 200 Watts of shunting capacity, and it operates with a resistance rating of 28.75 Ohms. The peak power ratings of the 2094-BSP2 shunt module are 5.7 kW at 230V AC and 22.5 kW at 460V AC, and the peak current ratings of the shunt module are 14 Amperes at 230V AC and 28 Amperes at 460V AC. The 2094-BSP2 module’s continuous power capacity is 200 Watts, and it has a capacitance rating of 470 ?F. The shunt module can support a short-circuit current rating of 200,000 Amperes. This module is symmetrical and does not require a fuse. The 2094-BSP2 shunt module supports a motor cable shield clamp, a 3-pin Phoenix-style connector for an external shunt resistor (RC) connection, and a 2-pin Phoenix-style connector for hosting an external thermal switch (TS). The LED indicators on the front panel of the 2094-BSP2 module are “Shunt Fault,” “Overtemperature Fault,” and “Bus” status indicators. When the 2094-BSP2 shunt module is used in a drive system with a Kinetix 6000 series 2094-AC09-M02-S IAM or integrated axis module, the internal shunt resistor in the IAM is disabled, while shunt resistors in adjacent AM or axis modules in the drive system remain active. The 2094-BSP2 module's dimensions are 287 mm (height) x 70 mm (width) x 263 mm (depth).
