The Allen-Bradley 2094-BMP5-S is an Axis Module from the Kinetix 6000 Drive series. To perform such monitoring and control tasks, this drive may be linked to the appropriate signaling device through its built-in inputs, which include two (2) registration inputs, one (1) home input, two (2) over-travel inputs, and one (1) axis enable input. The axis module 2094-BMP5-S has an integrated safety feature called Safe Torque-Off (STO). Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 certification (ISO 13849-1 PLe) has been granted to this safety feature. An external safety relay must be included to adhere to EN954-1, Category 3. This STO securely eliminates torque during a circuit trip and prevents the drive from reopening when the system stabilizes. This reduces the risk and hazards to individuals using and troubleshooting the properties. Moreover, it halts undesirable operations. The 2094-BMP5-S gets its power from a supply voltage (input) range of 324-528V rms, 3-phase. Its nominal voltage level is 360 / 480V, which falls under the 400 V voltage category. It provides a constant output current (rms) of 2.8 A with Series A 2094-BMP5-S drive, continuous current (sine) 0-pk of 4.0 A, peak current (rms) of 4.2 A, and 7.0 A with Series B & C drives. Similarly, the Max current (0-pk) for Class A drives is 5.9 A, but it is 9.9 A for Series B & C drives. Regardless of your selected series, the standard 1.8 kW power will always be attained. It is important to realize that current ratings (peak) are intended for high-speed functioning. When the motor operates at a constant speed, and the electrical frequency for output is lower than 5 Hz, or 75 rpm for eight-pole rotors, the output power is reduced.
