Allen-Bradley designed the 2094-AC16-M03-S integrated axis module, which is a component of the Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo drives. This Bulletin 2094 integrated axis module is intended to provide integrated motion solutions for demanding motion applications, and it simplifies and accelerates programming, cabling, operation, and diagnostics. Its small dimension offers greater design and engineering flexibility for machines and systems. Its modular construction and streamlined circuitry reduce the number of connections required for installation. Incorporated multi-axis motion, it integrates seamlessly with the Logix platform. In addition, it features sophisticated control capabilities that increase throughput and accuracy. The 2094-AC16-M03-S module has an input voltage range of 195 to 264 volts RMS, three-phase (230 volts nominal), and a frequency range of 47 to 63 hertz. Its DC input voltage (common bus follower) is 275 to 375V with 36 amps DC current input (common bus follower). This module includes an 11 kilowatts (kW) converter and a 24 amps inverter. It has a nominal bus output voltage of 325 volts DC and a line loss travel through of 20 milliseconds. It possesses an internal shunt resistor with a rating of 28.75 ohms, 200 watts of continuous power, and 5700 watts of peak power. Its converter inductance is 75 microhenry, its capacitance is 1980 microfarads, and its primary AC input current ranges from 71 amps RMS nominal to 138 amps peak (0-pk). The 2094-AC16-M03-S incorporates a secure torque-off feature disabling output when a circuit is triggered to remove torque from the motor while the machine is still powered on. It is a 95% efficient device.
