The 2198-P141 from Allen Bradley is a DC-bus power supply sourced from the Kinetix 5700 sequences servo drive. It has a three-phase RMS input voltage of 324-528 volts (480 volts AC nominal) and a frequency range of 47-63 hertz. It has an 85-millimeter module breadth. It has a primary AC input current of 49.6 amps, a maximum inrush (0-peak) current of 33 amps, and a peak AC input current of 148.7 amps. The continuous and maximal output currents to the bus are 46.9 amps and 140.8 amps. The continuous output power to the bus is 31 kilowatts (kW), while the maximal output power is 93 kW. The internal shunt resistance and shunt power of the 2198-P141 are 13.5 ohms and 200 watts, respectively. It is 99% efficient and has an internal capacitance of 1640 microfarads and a capacitive energy absorption of 362 Joules. Each Kinetix 5700 drive can accommodate up to three (3) power supply modules. Additional power supply modules can be installed to enhance the drive's single-axis and dual-axis inverters' power output. The 2198-P141 has a simple, effective, and lightweight structure for machines with a high axis count and above-average power requirements. The drive has an incorporated motion and safety feature that operates over the EtherNet/IP network, allowing it to be utilized in large machines. With its high-performance motor control and reduced integration time, it finds use in numerous industries, including the beverage, bagging, tire-building, and tray-loading industries, among others. The innovative snap-fit mechanism of the 2198-P141 power supply requires no tools for assembly and installation in the drive.
