Allen Bradley manufactures the 2198-D032-ERS3, a dual axis module aligned with the Kinetix servo drive. This module implements motion control via the dual Ethernet I/P communication interface, which can be configured to implement linear, star, or device level ring (DLR) topology. This drive enables zero stacking installation, which requires very little space when installed alongside another drive or component. This zero-stacking technology simplifies enclosure design while reducing wiring, space requirements, and installation costs. This drive has a continuous output power rating of 4.5 kilowatts at 240V input voltage and an output power rating of 8.9 kilowatts at 480V input voltage. The 2198-D032-ERS3 has a continuous output current of 18.3 amps and a continuous peak current of 45.9 amps. The highest velocity loop frequency of the drive is 400 hertz, the current loop frequency is 1000 hertz, and the pulse width modulation (PWM) frequency is 4 kilohertz.
