The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180ED11 is a contactor in the IEC 100 and Bulletin 100-D series. It is a versatile industrial control device with auxiliary contacts, electronic coils, and an electronic interface. Its additional contacts consist of one normally closed and one normally open contact, offering flexibility in control circuit configurations. The electronic coils are designed for a coil voltage range of 110 to 130 Volts AC, operating at frequencies between 50 to 60 Hertz. These coils feature Class B insulation for added protection. The electronic interface integrated into this contactor enhances its applicative capabilities and control functionalities. Notably, the 100-D180ED11 contactor is not suitable for reversing AC motor applications. Designed for use with AC-1, AC-2, and AC-3 motors, this contactor is particularly well-suited for switching applications involving AC-2 and AC-3 motors. It hass the capability to handle motors with voltage ratings of up to 1000 Volts and offers an impressive output rating of 132 kilowatts. Its operational parameters allow it to adapt between kilowatt and Horsepower output, depending on motor specifications, voltage, and frequency. With a minimum kilowatt rating of 55, a maximum of 132, a minimum Horsepower rating of 50, and a maximum of 125, this contactor accommodates various motor power requirements. When operated at an ambient temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, the 100-D180ED11 contactor can handle a maximum current rating of 180 Amps. It is worth noting that if operated at the upper limit of its 70-degree Celsius temperature range, the current rating must be derated by a minimum of 15 percent.
