The Allen-Bradley 1794-CJC2 kit is a spare parts kit. It is part of the Allen-Bradley Flex I/O 1794 series, and it is a spare parts kit for some of the I/O modules in the Allen-Bradley Flex I/O 1794 series. The 1794-CJC2 spare parts kit contains 2 cold junction compensators, and it is also known as a cold junction compensator kit or as a cold junction compensation kit. The 2 cold junction compensators in the 1794-CJC2 kit can be used with FLEX I/O 1794 series RTC input modules that can operate in a millivolt mode or a thermocouple mode and that can measure temperature and millivolt data. The 1794-CJC2 kit compensators need to be used with a compatible RTC input module that is operating in its thermocouple mode. The cold junction compensation temperature range for the cold junction compensators in the 1794-CJC2 kit is from 0 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius with a 1794-IT8 module. The cold junction compensation temperature range for the 1794-CJC2 kit cold junction compensators is from -20 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius with a 1794-IRT8 module or a 1794-I4T8XT module. The cold junction compensators in the 1794-CJC2 kit are not waterproof. Their ingress protection or IP rating is about IP20, and they should not be used in harsh or polluted environments. The cold junction compensators from the 1794-CJC2 spare parts kit are compatible with Flex I/O input modules that can be used with grounded or ungrounded thermocouples, long wiring for the thermocouples, and with good common mode rejection ratings.
