The 193-EC3ZZ relay from Allen-Bradley is an E3 Plus line motor protection relay. The protective relay has four (4) input channels and two (2) output channels. It has an external ground fault current or full load current range of 9 to 5000 amps and is utilized with external current transformers. This robust motor protection relay has comprehensive motor protection capabilities that allow users' assets to be protected. The 193-EC3ZZ relay can be adjusted to either manual or automated reset. The 193-EC3ZZ relay operates in three phases and offers the option of converting to a single-phase operation. As a result, component users can easily switch from three-phase to single-phase operation. The rated insulation voltage of the 193-EC3ZZ relay is 690 volts AC. The unit has a rated impulse strength of 6 kilovolts AC and a frequency range of 20 to 250 hertz. The trip relay remains available while the 193-EC3ZZ relay is in the OFF state. The trip relay ends after around 35 seconds if no trip condition is present. When commanding outputs via an explicit message, users must ensure that no established I/O connection is actively controlling the outputs and that the explicit message connection is configured to a non-zero anticipated packet rate. The 193-EC3ZZ relay includes DeviceNet capabilities. Polled I/O messaging, change-of-state or cyclic messaging, and explicit messaging DeviceNet features are available. The 193-EC3ZZ overload relay is extraordinarily adaptable and powerful, and the HVAC systems, conveyor systems, pump systems, fan systems, machine tools, and process control systems are just a few of its industrial applications.
