The 2711P-RDT10C module is an Allen-Bradley display module from the Panelview Plus 1000 series. It has a touchscreen that is 10.4 inches wide. The 2711P-RDT10C display module’s touchscreen is a color touchscreen with 18-bit graphics. Additionally, the touchscreen supports an actuation rating of approximately 1 million presses, and it is an analog-resistive type of touchscreen. The 2711P-RDT10C module has no physical keys because it is completely touchscreen-controlled. This module can support serial communications and Ethernet communications. It can host a mouse, a keyboard, and/or a printer with its USB ports. The 2711P-RDT10C display module can also support memory expansion modules. It can operate with 512 MB of CompactFlash memory and 256 MB of RAM. The 2711P-RDT10C display module’s touchscreen was designed to be operated with bare fingers, gloved fingers, or plastic styluses. The minimum type radius for a plastic stylus is 1.3 mm. Using unapproved tools may damage the 2711P-RDT10C module’s touchscreen. The 2711P-RDT10C display module supports field installation in a compatible system that needs a touchscreen display module. It can also be used to replace a damaged, worn-out, or obsolete display module that has the same dimensions and specifications. The 2711P-RDT10C display terminal can operate at 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit, and it can be transported or stored at -13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. It can withstand 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity in operation, in storage, and during transportation. The highest operating altitude that the 2711P-RDT10C display module supports without derating is 6561 feet above sea level, and it can withstand 15 g of operating shock.
