Other Available Revisions for the MVI56-PDPS MVI56-PDPS//A
The MVI56-PDPS is a ControlLogix platform manufactured by ProSoft technology. The Profibus DP MVI56-PDPS communication module has a backplane current load of 800 milliamperes at 5 Volts DC and 3 milliamperes at 24 Volts DC. The operating temperature at which this device should be used is 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and the storage temperature is -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). The MVI56-PDPS can withstand a shock of 30g during operation and 50g when not operating, and it has a vibration of 5g from 10 to 150 Hertz. The relative humidity the device can withstand is 5 to 95% (non-condensing). The conductor size of the ControlLogix platform must be 1.3 millimeters squared and the earth conductors should be 4 millimeters squared.
The power input, output, and wiring should be turned off when users encounter any hazardous conditions like explosion hazards and users should be careful to avoid disconnecting the equipment. The MVI56-PDPS has a protective IP54 enclosure which keeps the equipment safe from any kind of dangerous environment. This IP54 enclosure also provides an external method where transient disturbances do not exceed the rated voltage by more than 40%. One important criterion to note is that the MVI56-PDPS must be used with ATEX certified backplanes. Any third-party usage of backplanes run the risk of permanent damage to the device. The MVI56-PDPS uses a rechargeable lithium vanadium pentoxide battery, providing a backup of up to 512K of SRAM, similar to other MVI series ControlLogix platforms to provide a first-class experience.
