Other Available Revisions for the 1756-TBSH 1756-TBSH//A
The 1756-TBSH is a 20-pin spring clamp removable terminal block (RTB) with a standard housing. The RTB provides a link between the I/O module and the plant wiring. This module needs to be ordered separately from the module. When wiring the RTB with the module, make sure to start connecting the wires from the bottom and then move up. This makes it easier for connecting the wires along with increasing visibility. Operators can use cable ties to secure the wires in the strain relief areas on the RTB and they can also use the extended depth housing with a heavy gauge wire. The extended depth housing needs to be ordered separately. While connecting the 1756-TBSH RTB, make sure the power is turned off because if users connect the RTB to the module with the power on, it may cause electric arcs and this may cause explosions in hazardous locations. It may also damage the equipment and be dangerous for the person installing the system.
When the users first receive the 1756-TBSH module, they should make sure that the packaging is intact and that there is no damage to the module. If there is any, they should inform the supplier about the damage before proceeding with the installation. All the necessary installation instructions and the safety instructions stated by the manufacturer must be followed for the safety of the personnel. It is recommended that the installation of the module be done by a person who is familiar and trained with the system. Users can refer the manuals for the connection diagrams and detailed installation instructions for the 1756-TBSH. For further assistance with regards to the installation, users can contact the local distributor or the manufacturer.
