Other Available Revisions for the 1756-PAXTR 1756-PAXTR//A
Manufactured by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation, the 1756-PAXTR is an extended temperature Redundant Power Supply from the ControlLogix-XT line of products. This part can be used to build a power supply system, in which case two of these power supply modules are required. The approximate weight of this compact module is only 1.45 kilograms (3.2 pounds), and its height is 17.5 centimeters (6.9 inches). The module is 14.5 centimeters (5.7 inches) wide and 13.7 centimeters (5.4 inches) deep. The 1756-PAXTR is an open-style module that can be mounted in any slot in the 1756 chassis. This power supply requires 120 to 240 Volts AC which has been tested and certified by a UL certificate. The maximum input power rating for the 1756-PAXTR is 75 Volt-Amperes or 65 Watts. The module has a reinforced insulation and comes with 250 V of continuous isolation voltage which was tested at 3250 Volts DC for 60 seconds.
The 1756-PAXTR has an annunciator that operates on a 240 Volt AC input and has a frequency rating of 50/60 Hertz. The wires that are used to plug in the module are made of copper, either solid or stranded, and they have a maximum insulation of 1.2 millimeters (0.047 inches). The wire category 3 is on annunciator ports, and the wire is 0.25 to 2.5 square millimeters (22 to14 AWG) rated at 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit). On the other hand, wire category 1 is on power ports, and it is 2.5 square millimeters. The annunciator is not rated for pilot duty, while the conductor has screw torque of 0.79 N-m (7 pounds on an inch). Engineered for Level 2 pollution environment, the 1756-PAXTR should be installed in a Zone 2 environment where it can be only accessed using a tool. The equipment used with this power supply must not be disconnected unless the power is shut off and/or the area is proved to be safe.
