The 1756-OB16IEFS is an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix modules that comes with a DC output module. Running on the DC circuit, the input voltage for the 1756-OB16IEFS is 10 to 30 Volts DC and the operating voltage rating also ranges from 10 to 30 Volts DC. The 1756-OB16IEFS has a maximum output current rating-point of 2 Amps at 30 degrees Celsius, with an additional option for 1 Amp at 60 degrees Celsius. The maximum output current rating module is 8 Amps at 30 degrees Celsius and 4 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius. In addition, the 1756-OB16IEFS comes with a maximum power dissipation of 3.6 Watts at 60 degrees Celsius.
The backplane current for the 1756-OB16IEFS at 5 Volts is 350 mA while at 24 Volts, the backplane current is 3 mA. The 1756-OB16IEFS digital drive also comes with 2 options for the Removable Terminal Blocks. These are 1756-TBCH and the 1756-TBS6H RTBs. The module features CIP Sync Slave only and uses the CIP sync for scheduling and time stamping. The module can be installed in the chassis since it comes with the removable terminal block housing. This is useful in scheduling the diagnostic latch of information and electronic fusing.
