The 1756-L84EK controller is an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix controller. This conformally-coated unit offers a scalable controller solution to address I/O points and it can withstand harsh environmental conditions. It is used to monitor and control I/O access across the ControlLogix backplane and to control local network links. This controller comes with 20 MB of user memory. The controller is efficient and it supports different programming languages including the sequential flow chart, ladder diagram, and functional diagram languages. The 1756-L84EK controller can work with 128,000 total I/O and 4000 analog I/O. The processor draws 5 milliamps and 1.20 Amps of current with 1.2 and 5.1 Volts DC, respectively. The isolation voltage of the controller is 50 Volts continuous with basic insulation from the USB to the backplane, the USB to the Ethernet, and from the Ethernet to the backplane.
