The Allen-Bradley 1756-L84E ControlLogix controller is an advanced, premium option for complex manufacturing environments. With the capacity to connect and operate a staggering 128,000 Discrete Input/Outputs and 4000 Analog Input/Outputs, this controller is tailor-made for large-scale applications. EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Data Highway Plus, Remote I/O, SynchLink, and other third-party process and device networks are all supported, as well as local I/O control and distributed I/O architectures. With its 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet I/P interface, it can easily exchange data with other controllers and HMIs on the same Ethernet network. It can also connect to SCADA systems and get data from them. It also has a USB 2.0 connector, which can transfer data at a rapid 12 Mbps. The controller has 20MB of user memory and supports a 2GB Secure Digital (SD) card (1784-SD2) for expanding its non-volatile memory capacity. Most notably, it saves the user and the planet from having to use batteries to store temporary information. This controller is very durable, able to take shocks of up to 30G and vibrations of 2G while operating in a temperature range of 0-60 degrees Celsius. It may be used in any 1756 Chassis slot that is exactly one slot wide and weighs around 0.394 kg. The 1756-L84E is a flexible and powerful controller thanks to its support for Studio 5000 Logix Designer Application Version 3.0 or above, its local I/O event triggers, and its limitless task capacity. This controller improves machine automation and provides superior performance in rigorous industrial environments thanks to its 1GB embedded Ethernet port, support for up to 250 nodes, and integrated motion control over the EtherNet/IP network.
