About 1756-L81ES
The 1756-L81ES controller is a ControlLogix controller module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. A ControlLogix controller is used to perform safety functions in an industrial setting. It offers safety levels as high as the SIL 2/PLd standards. It is made to be used with a primary safety controller. It is easy to use and requires no user setup before use. The ControlLogix controller can control 31 standard tasks and a single safety task. It supports different communication options including the Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, third-party process, and other device networks. The 1756-L81ES controller supports different programming languages like the Relay ladder logic, structured text, and functional block diagram languages. A user memory of 3 MB and 1.5 MB of safety memory are provided.
The 1756-L81ES controller supports 128,000 digital I/O and 4000 analog I/O. An optional nonvolatile memory capacity up to 2 GB is supported by the controller. The ambient operating temperature range should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius in a relatively humid environment with 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity. It is certified with the CE, RCM, Ex, and other standards. The 1756-L81ES controller is equipped with dual USB 2.0 ports that support speeds of up to 12 Mbps.
