The 1756-L61 processor module is part of the ControLogix series of products designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This module/controller has Series A and Series B variants and it features a fixed memory of 2, 4, or 8 MB and a non-volatile memory which is available through the integration of a Compact Flash card as an option. In addition to that, the non-volatile optional memory for backup storage is 128 MB maximum and the controller also features a user memory of 2 MB and I/O memory of 478 KB. This controller uses only the 1784-CF128 Compact Flash memory card. The product codes for chassis that are compatible with this controller are 1756-A4/A7/A10/A13 and -A17. The 1756-L61 processor module has 128,000 maximum I/O and 4,000 Input/2,000 Output for the maximum analog I/O. The backplane current at 5 Volts DC is 1.2 Amps and the backplane current at 24 Volts DC is 14 mA. Besides that, it is relevant to mention its program scan time is 0.08 milliseconds.

The controller operates in environments with a relative humidity of 5 to 95%. The controller weighs only 0.32 kilograms or 0.71 pounds.
