Other Available Revisions for the 1756-IV32 1756-IV32//A
The 1756-IV32 is an Allen-Bradley authentic digital input module that comes with 32 inputs, arrange in 2 groups of 16 inputs. The module can be used with the ControlLogix 1756 chassis. However, before connecting the 1756-IV32 to the chassis, ensure that there is an RTB as well as a removable terminal housing. The unit can only be used with the 1756-TBCH RTB as well as the 1756-TBS6H RTB. The operating voltage range of this Allen-Bradley unit is 10 to 30 Volts DC and the source voltage is 12 to 24 Volts DC. The 1756-IV32 draws a current of 120 mA at 5.1 Volts and 2 mA at 24 Volts. Moreover, the unit is characterized by a 0.66-Watts total backplane power and a 24 Volts DC nominal input voltage.
Other important characteristics of the 1756-IV32 module include a continuous voltage of 250 Volts. The 1756-IV32 is also characterized by a maximum power dissipation of 4.1 Watts at 60 degrees Celsius and a thermal dissipation of 14 BTU/hour at the same temperature. The 1756-IV32 features a maximum inrush current of 250 mA that decays to <37% in 22 milliseconds (which is without activation). The module’s maximum input impedance is estimated at 8.6 kΩ at 30 Volts DC. The 1756-IV32’s backplane input delay times are in the following order: ON to OFF (a hardware delay of 540 microseconds to a maximum of two milliseconds) and from OFF to ON (a hardware delay of 350 microseconds to a maximum 1 milliseconds). Remember, when the unit is OFF, the maximum current it can draw is 1.5 mA. Also, in this OFF-state, it can only use a maximum voltage of about 5 Volts DC.
