The 1756-IT16 enhanced I/O non-isolated analog is manufactured by Allen-Bradley, it is ControlLogix 1756 series component. This module provides stability, accuracy, and high performance for applications requiring advanced control capabilities. The 1756-IT16 module provides enhanced functionality and is directly installed in the chassis. The general purpose isolated analog input modules, combined temperature sensing input modules, and general purpose current voltage analog output modules are available as ControLogix module variants. The 1756-IT16 thermocouple analog I/O module has 16 channels and a resolution of 24 bits. The device features an LED status display and an open enclosure. The 1756-IT16 module has a current draw of 200 milliamps at 5.1 volts DC and 80 milliamps at 24 volts DC. Moreover, the unit's input/output range is -/+100 millivolts with a maximum value of 5 volt-amps. Its continuous isolation voltage is 250 volts; its maximum power dissipation for this 1756-IT16 module is 3 watts, and maximum thermal dissipation is 9.9 BTU per hour. The overvoltage protection rating is +/- 30 volts DC, and the noise rejection in normal mode is 75 decibels at 60 hertz. To connect all field-side wiring, the 1756-IT16 module attaches swiftly to a ControlLogix 1756 cabinet and requires either a removable terminal block (RTB) or a Bulletin 1492 wiring interface module (IFM). It also has built-in time stamping for a sequence of events (SOE) applications. The instrument is certified to CE, c-UL-us, RCM, Ex, KC, EAC, and IECEx specifications; it also has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The 1756-IT16 enhanced I/O component is a flexible and powerful module that can be used in a variety of advanced control applications.
