The 1756-IF8IH is an 8-channel isolated analog input module. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the ControlLogix series. It comes with a configurable input channel with a separate HART model in each terminal. It has an open enclosure. The HART provides a process automation and can be used locally or mounted remotely. The analog and digital data from the module can then be configured and monitored by a remote workstation. It provides a full range of digital motion control to meet the required user needs. It comes mounted in a ControlLogix chassis. It has two input current ranges of 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA used by the HART instrument. The 1756-IF8IH has various detection feature. It can detect underrange and overrange situations to prevent further damage and open circuit detection lets the module report a negative full-scale value. It has an enhanced diagnostics system to detect both system and field failures and time stamping abilities to record a series of events. For safety purpose, it has an on-board data alarming feature. The 1756-IF8IH has an increased accuracy, stability, and repeatability. No field calibration is required and has increased precision.
