The Allen-Bradley 1756-BATA 3.6 Volts Lithium PLC Battery is a substitute lithium battery. The 1756-BATA is manufactured by Allen-Bradley and is part of the line of Factory Automation Equipment made by Rockwell Automation. The use of these batteries is geared towards industrial computers and also towards programmable logic controllers (PLC). The 1756-BATA is a 1-cell 10g lithium battery that is compatible with the 1756-L6x devices as well as industrial computers and the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5561, 5562, 5563, and 5564 devices. The 1756-BATA lasts for about 10 years on average. This battery can be used in place of the 1756-BATM battery model. The battery carries a power rating of 3.6 Volts. Since the Allen-Bradley 1756-BATA 3.6 Volts Lithium PLC Battery is a lithium cell, it carries with it a major advantage which is its lower self-discharge rate compared to other battery models like the Ni-Cad and NiMH.
The terminal connection for the 1756-BATA battery requires a wire leads connector.
