The 1756-A13 is an Allen-Bradley chassis-based module classified under the ControlLogix Series. The module comes with a 13-Slot ControlLogix chassis and it has a power dissipation of 5.4 Watts with power consumption of 1.8 Watts. The manufacturer’s dimensions are 23.15 x 6.65 x 5.71 inches while its weight is 4.2 pounds. The 1756-A13 chassis backplane offers a high-speed communication path from the modules and power is distributed to each one of the modules within the chassis. The 1756-A13 is horizontally mounted and placed inside the panel with an open-style enclosure. A maximum backplane current of 1.5 Amps, which has 1.2 Volts DC and 4 Amps at 3.3 Volts DC,15 Amps at 5.1 Volts DC, and also a 2.8 Amps at 24 Volts DC. The communication system for the 1756-A13 is the ControlNet and also the EtherNet/IP network. Further, the 1756-A13 standard chassis comes with the ability to timestamp and hence it is ideal for the SOE applications.
