The Allen-Bradley 1756-A10 is a ten-slot ControlLogix chassis. It belongs to the Standard Chassis class (which is separate from the Extreme Temperature class). The 1756-A10 is designed for horizontal mounting only. Any ControlLogix module can be installed in any slot. The chassis backplane enables high-speed connectivity between the modules.
