1769OF4 Allen Bradley I/O MODULE AB Rockwell Automation
The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF4 Analog Voltage and Current Output Module provides 4 single-ended analog output points which can be customized according to the application’s voltage or current range. It comes with a 16-pin backplane connector designed to fit directly into an Allen-Bradley 1769 CompactLogix Programmable Logic Controller and an 18-pin terminal block that receives the wiring from the analog voltage or current elements in the field. The recommended torque for the terminal screws is of approximately 0.68 N-m (6 pounds on an inch). The wire size for connecting the field elements to the terminal can vary between 22 and 14 AWG for solid wire or 22 and 16 AWG for stranded wire. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF4 Analog Voltage and Current Output Module is able to adapt automatically (no calibration needed) to any of the following voltage or current ranges: 0 to 10 Volts, 0 to 5 Volts, 1 to 5 Volts, 0 to 20 milliamps, and 4 to 20 milliamps.
The resistive load to the Allen-Bradley 1769-OF4 Analog Voltage and Current Output Module varies according to the mode of operation that is currently being used. With the current mode, it is 0 to 600 Ohms (including the resistance of the wires) and with the voltage mode, it can be 1 Kilo Ohm or even greater. The inductive loads can be of 0.1 mH for the current loads or 1.0 μF for the voltage loads. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF4 Analog Voltage and Current Output Module comes from the factory with built-in open circuit protection and short circuit protection features. The maximum continuous voltage that can be applied at any moment at the input terminals is a voltage of 30 Volts DC or 30 Volts AC.
