The 1769-OB32 module is a compact solid-state output module that has been included in the 1769 Bulletin by Allen-Bradley. This module has been designed to operate in several applications while occupying less space than regular modules of the same type. This module comes with different options and parts that perform different functions. Some of these parts are a bus lever, an upper and lower panel mounting tab, an upper and lower DIN rail latch, and a removable terminal block. The module can be installed on a DIN rail and it can also be mounted in a panel. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB32 compact solid-state output module operates in a voltage category of 24 Volts DC and with a voltage range of 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC and it comes with 32 outputs. The module has a heat dissipation rating of 4.5 Watts and an on-state current of 1 milliamp.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB32 compact solid-state output module provides isolation to different output groups and it also provides output point to bus isolation. The module can operate in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and at a maximum operating altitude of 2000 meters. If any of these conditions is exceeded, it is possible that the module will need to be derated. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB32 compact solid-state output module can withstand moderate vibrations and shocks. The module comes with status indicators that show the current operating status of the module. These LEDs are especially useful to operators, who can detect the status of the module quickly with them.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB32 compact solid-state output module comes with 32 outputs. It has been specially designed to operate with a voltage class of 24 Volts DC.
The 1769-OB32 output module is a 32-point CompactLogix output module manufactured by Allen Bradley. It is powered with a 24 Volts DC rated power source. It is a digital expansion module that uses digital transistors as outputs. Each individual module of the unit has a removable terminal block that is easy to install and remove. It is used for connecting I/O sensors and other actuator devices The module has high-current outputs that are single-ended. The front of the module has LED Indicators for all 32 output points. An LED illuminates when a connection is made to its specific output point. The 1769-OB32 output module has a current draw of 300 milliamps of current at 5.1 Volts. It dissipates 4.5 Watts of heat. The surge current rating of the expansion module is 2 Amps for a time period of 10 milliseconds that is repeated every 2 seconds. The slot width between the different points is 1.5 slots. With an open enclosure, the module can be easily mounted using a DIN rail.
The Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 1769-OB32 output module comes with a power supply distance rating of 6 modules. The module is certified with the c-UL, CE, and C-Tick standards. The 1769-OB32 output module has an isolation voltage rating of 1200 Volts AC for 1 second, with an output point to bus isolation voltage rating of 75 Volts DC. The module needs a compatible power supply like the 1769-PA2, PB2, PA4, or PB4 power supply modules. The output delay times on and off the module are 0.1 and 1 milliseconds, respectively. The environmental temperature range should be between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius for regular operation.
