About 1769-L36ERMO
The 1769-L36ERMO is an Armor CompactLogix controller that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This controller is popular with machine builders or Original Equipment manufacturers as its compact and rugged design allows it to be installed near the machine or to the machine itself. This controller offers standard controller functions, designed with flexibility and scalability for seamless enhancement and less disruption to the controllers operation. This controller is built with IP67 protection allowing it to be installed in flush mounted style as well. The 1769-L36ERMO comes with Two (2) Ethernet communication ports, integrated power supply installed within an Ingress Protection (IP67) and UL Type 4X enclosure. This controller ships with a Secure Digital (SD) card with catalog number 1784-SD1 with memory size of 1GB memory. The controllers built-in volatile user memory amounts to 3MB user memory which is maintained by an internal energy storage solution which eliminates the need of a battery. Additionally, this controller can manage communication paths and load add-on profiles to the modules used. For IP address configuration, BOOTP-DHCP may be used may be used. The controller has Two (2) Ethernet communication port which is capable of 10/100 Mbps data transmission with auto-negotiation function. It is also compatible for use in different Ethernet topologies such has Device Level Ring (DLR) and Linear topology. Up to 48 Ethernet nodes may be connected to the controller which may include visualization systems, programming workstation and other devices. The 1769-L36ERMO has LED status indicator located on the device front panel. Status LED indicators include RUN, FORCE, I/O, OK, NS, LIMK 1, LINK2 and SD. The controllers power connections are established via the Two sealed mini-style power connectors operating in parallel allowing daisy-chaining to power other device. This cordsets are used to maintain the device IP67 rating. The male connector is intended as the input power terminal while the female connector is the output power terminal. Ethernet connection is established using D-Code M12 pacthcords. Do not drill holes to the controller as this will void the protection rating of the controller. The controller is provided with an enclosure access which is opened by loosening the Four (4) front panel screws. The enclosure access door cannot be detached to the controller door.
