About 1769-L33ERMSK

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ERMSK is a Compact GuardLogix controller that comes with a conformally coated electronic circuit board assembly, allowing it to be used in applications where environmental factors and conditions may potentially damage the controller even when properly installed inside an enclosure. Most common harsh environmental conditions include presence of moisture, dust, dirt or corrosive contaminants. The 1769- L33ERMSK is basically a standard controller with an increased protection level. It also has an integrated safety capability and support for motion control over Ethernet I/P network. The 1769-L33ERMSK features an integrated memory of 2MB and safety memory of 1.5 MB. It also comes with a removable 1GB memory that can be upgraded and replace by 1769-SD2 with 2GB memory. This controller does not need battery to keep the contents of the user memory as it is built with an internal energy storage solution eliminating battery requirement. The controllers integral safety capability allows it to be used in applications that require SIL 3 or Performance Level (e) safety application ratings. Compact GuardLogix controller may be used with 1769 Compact I/O modules. This controller supports up to Eight (8) 1769 Compact I/O for local expansion in Three (3) I/O banks and also supports implementation of Distributed I/O through the provided Ethernet interfaces. The 1769-L33ERMSK is also capable of motion control as it can control up to Eight (8) axes. Compatible motion loops and drives for use with this controller are Supported control loops include Velocity, Torque and Position for Kinetix 350 drives, Kinetix 5500 drives, Kinetix 5700 drives, Kinetix 6500 drives, and Velocity, Torque, Position and Frequency for PowerFlex 755 drives. The embedded Dual Ethernet interface supports DLR, Linear and Star topology. Standard Cat5 or Cat6 cables may be used with RJ45 connectros terminated on both ends of the controller. The controller supports DIN rail or Panel mounting. Panel mounting option offers more resistance to vibration and shock while DIN rail mounting offers less resistance. Appropriate vibration and shock limiting devices must be installed to limit these effects especially in DIN rail mounted controller. I/O banks enalble vertical and horizontal mounting with options of right bank to right bank expansion, left bank to left bank expansion and right to left bank expansion. Controller installation require 50 mm clearance on all sides or 2-inches clearance to ensure adequate air flow for natural controller cooling. BOOTP-DHCP is a stand-alone utility that uses the unique MAC address of a device to assign the corresponding IP address.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ERMSK is a conformally coated Compact GuardLogix controller. This controller has 2 Mbyte standard memory and 1 MB safety memory. It has Dual Ethernet communication port and One (1) USB port. It supports 32 Ethernet nodes, Sixteen (16) 1769 Compact I/O modules and features integrated motion capability supporting up to Eight (8) axes. This controller is certified for use up to and including SIL 3 and Performance Level (e) rated applications.
