About 1769-L33ERMK

The 1769-L33ERMK is a conformally coated Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controller. This controller is part of the 5370 L3 CompactLogix product family of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This controller is designed for small to medium application with increased level of control complexity. This controller is also designed with embedded Motion Control capability over Ethernet I/P. The controller has Dual Ethernet communication interface which supports 256 controller connections, 120 TCP connections, 256 Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) connections, 256 CIP Unconnected Messages, Packet Rate capacity of 6000 @ 500 bytes/ packet, HMI/MSG of 400 messages/s @ 20% comm. Timeslice and 32 multicast produced tags and 128 unicast produced tags. These ethernet interfaces support Device Level Ring (DLR) for fault tolerant connection, Linear for single path connection that is typically used in less critical application, Star topology wherein a central hub is used to concentrate data. Communication speed supported is 10/100 Mbps over Cat5 or Cat6 cables. The 1769-L33ERMK is capable of being installed in harsh environments due to the conformally coated assembly. This provides protection to the electronic components especially in corrosive, dirty environments to ensure reliable and continuous operation. Aside from the conformal coating feature, the 1769-L33ERMK features an integrated motion control capability over Ethernet I/P. It can be sued to control drives such as Kinetix 350, Kinetix 5500, Kinetix 5700, and Kinetix 6500 drives for loops that require Position, Velocity and Torque control. It may also be used with PowerFlex 755 drive for Position loop, Velocity loop, Torque loop and Frequency control application. Up to Eight (8) axes is supported by the 1769-L33ERMK. This CompactLogix controller requires power supply to power the CompactLogix backplane. This controller requires 500 mA Current draw @ 5V DC, controller power and 225 mA Current draw @ 24V DC, controller power. The power supply distance rating of the controller is Four (4) which means the controller must not be more than 4 slots away from the power supply. The controllers power dissipation is 4.5 W. Compatible power supply for this controller are 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, 1769-PB4.
