About 1769-L33ERM

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ERM is a CompactLogix controller that belongs to the 1769 CompactLogix product family. This controller is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) component used to execute downloaded user program and implement data exchange. This CompactLogix controller is capable of implementing discrete and analog controls as well implement basic and advanced control strategies. The 1769-L33ERM features an integrated 2 MB volatile user memory with contents retained by the energy storage solution that eliminates the need of batteries. It is partnered with a 1GB non-volatile memory via the 1769-SD1 Secure Digital card. This memory card may be replaced with a higher memory amounting to 2 GB with catalog number 1769-SD2. Additionally, the 1769-L33ERM has dual Ethernet interfaces to allow the controller perform data exchange via Ethernet network using Cat5 or Cat6 cable with R745 connector on both ends for physical interface. These embedded communication port support Device Level Ring (DLR), Linear and Star topologies. Supported transmission speed is 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiation capability. IP address of the ethernet ports may be assigned by downloading configuration using the USB 1.0 port or using the BOOTP-DHCP tool. The controller also features an enhanced support to 1769 Compact I/O modules wherein up to Sixteen (16) 1769 Compact I/O may be installed to serve as local I/O modules. These modules may be distributed in Three (3) I/O banks. Remote I/O technology may be implemented over Ethernet interface by utilizing different platorms. For chassis based I/O, compatible systems are 1746 SLC, and 1756 ControlLogix. In-cabinet I/Os include 1734 POINT I/O, 1734D POINTBlock I/O, 1794 FLEX I/O and 1797 FLEX Ex I/O. Compatible ON-machine I/O includes 1732 ArmorBlock I/O, and 1738 ArmorPOINT I/O. The controller is also compatible for use with a variety of display devices such as industrial computers, PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, PanelView Standard, and PanelView e terminals. It may also be used with message displays such as InView message display. This controller also support communication to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). It may also be linked to gateways, protocol converters and OPC servers. The 1769-L33ERM also supports communication with other controller to send messages when Remote I/O system cannot be implemented. Compatible controller messaging partners are 1756 ControlLogix, 1756 GuardLogix, CompactLogix 5370, 1768-L4x CompactLogix, 1769-L3x CompactLogix, 1769-L23x CompactLogix, 1789 SoftLogix 5800, 1794 FlexLogix, PowerFlex with DriveLogix, 1785 PLC-5, 1747 SLC, 1761 MicroLogix, 1762 MicroLogix, 1763 MicroLogix, and 1764 MicroLogix. The controller has an integral Motion control capability over Ethernet. It supports up to Eight (8) axes. Compatible drives for use with the controller includes Kinetix 350, Kinetix 5500, Kinetix 5700, and Kinetix 6500 drives for Position loop, Velocity loop and Torque loop. PowerFlex 755 drive is also compatible for Position loop, Velocity loop, Torque loop and Frequency control application.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ERM is a CompactLogix controller that belongs to the 5370 L3 CompactLogix family. This controller has 2 Mbyte memory, Dual Ethernet communication port and One (1) USB port.
