The Allen-Bradley 5069-L320ERMS3 CompactLogix safety controller is a state-of-the-art industrial automation solution created for applications that demand the highest level of safety and accuracy. It is ideal for situations requiring safety classifications up to SIL 3 due to its SIL 3/PLe safety rating. This controller outperforms its predecessors by maximizing safety and operational efficiency while having noticeably faster response times. While only one Safety Task can be configured, it effectively manages up to 1000 programs within that task and supports 31 standard tasks, including continuous, periodic, and event-driven tasks with a variety of event triggers to meet a range of requirements. With 2 MB of user memory and 1 MB of safety memory built in, memory capacity is a strength. This card can be expanded to 32 GB using the included 1784-SD2 memory card or other compatible cards, such as the 1784-SD1 (1 GB), 1784-SDHC8 (8 GB), 1784-SDHC32 (32 GB), and 9509-CMSDCD4 (4 GB) CodeMeter CmCard card. With an I/O capacity of 128,000 packets per second and a message rate capacity of 2000 messages per second, the controller excels at handling I/O. It includes a high-speed USB port with a transfer rate of up to 12 Mbps and two Ethernet I/P interfaces supporting 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gbps communication speeds. Due to compatibility with Studio 5000 Logix Designer (Version 31 or higher), configuration is simplified. This Compact GuardLogix controller, which has dimensions of 143.97 x 98.10 x 136.81 mm (5.67 x 3.86 x 5.39 in.) and combines power and efficiency within a small form factor, is the perfect option for industrial automation applications that demand precision and safety. It supports eight CIP drive axes and up to 256 motion axes for critical operations.
