Allen-Bradley's ArmorPoint modules are input/output (I/O) modules and accessories that are intended for use in a variety of applications. The series includes output modules, input modules, Ethernet/IP adapters, and DeviceNet adapters. The ArmorPoint input and output modules can be analog, digital, specialty, or safety input and output modules. The ArmorPoint Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet adapters allow compatible I/O modules to support Ethernet/IP or DeviceNet connections. Some of the digital input modules in the ArmorPoint series come with diagnostics features. Many ArmorPoint I/O modules ship with mounting bases, and many have IP67 environmental protection ratings. The IP67-rated modules do not need to be installed in enclosures in most applications and environments because their IP67 protection ratings mean that they are protected from significant amounts of dust and moisture. The mounting bases for the ArmorPoint I/O modules can be mounted to panels or walls. This series includes output modules with sinking outputs and output modules with sourcing outputs. These ArmorPoint output modules are available with 2 outputs, 4 outputs, or 8 outputs. The outputs are not isolated. The ArmorPoint digital input module comes with 4 sinking inputs. The inputs are not isolated. The ArmorPoint I/O modules can operate in a temperature range from -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and they can be stored at temperatures between -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. These I/O modules weigh about 0.64 pounds. The input and output modules in the ArmorPoint series require keyswitch positions of position 1 when they are installed. The ArmorPoint input and output modules support nominal voltage ratings of 24 Volts DC.
