The 1734sc-OE2CIH is an analog output module with integral Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) interface. This module is manufactured by Allen-BradleyÕs encompass partner company, Spectrum Controls. This module is directly compatible with POINT I/O systems and may be mixed along the POINT I/O rack. The 1734sc-OE2CIHhas Two (2) isolated channels capable of providing 0-20mA and 4-20mA signal with output resolution of 16 bits across 21 mA to 320 mA. This module is compatible with 1734-AENT Ethernet Adapter where up to Nineteen (19) modules can be installed or 1734-ACNR ControlNet communication adapter which supports up to Nine (9) modules. This module supports HART dynamic Variables such as PV, SV, TV, FV. It may be configured as HART modem per channel or HART passthrough messaging. The 1734sc-OE2CIH is provided with LED indicators to show the moduleÕs operational status. The LEDS of this module consists of Four (4) Red/Green LEDs representing Module Status, Network Status, and Two (2) Output Connection Status LEDs. Aside from visual indicators, the module also has an internal protection such as Open circuit detection, fault reporting and 24 V fault protection. The module is installed to a single 1734-TB terminal base assembly with keyswitch set at position number 4. It has an open type enclosure which means the module must be installed within an appropriately selected enclosure that provides protection for environmental contaminants such as water, dirt, dust, grease and other materials. Similarly, the module must be operated within a temperature range of -20 ¡C - 55 ¡C (-4 ¡F - 131 ¡F) and relative humidity of 5% - 95% (non-condensing). Following these requirements will contribute to a reliable operation and lengthen the operational lifespan of the module. The 1734sc-OE2CIH is used as a HART master and capable of communicating with HART devices running HART revision 5 or higher version. The OE2CIH module includes one HART modem per channel to provide maximum acquisition speed and flexibility. The HART transmitter and receiver circuitry complies to the physical layer requirements for a HART primary master. These specifications include AC P-P voltage digital transmission bandwidth, analog signal bandwidth, wave shape, and a capacitive drive The 1734sc-OE2CIH is capable of performing automatic read of HART dynamic variables, retrieve and store HART device information that may include the manufacturer, tag name, HART revision, and allows this data to be accessed via Common Industrial Protocol (CIP). It is also capable of providing HART pass-through interface via CIP unconnected messaging allowing the user or a remote client send HART command to any channel.
