The 1734sc-IE4CH is an Allen-Bradley compatible module, manufactured by Spectrum Controls. This module is compatible for use with POINT I/O system, for implementation of Remote I/O or Distributed I/O architecture. The 1734sc-IE4CH features Four (4) single-ended, non-isolated analog input channels, compatible for 4-20 mA signals with range of 3.42-20.58mA. The module has an integrated Analog to Digital converter using Sigma-Delta mode. Conversion resolution is 16-bits with absolute accuracy of +/- 20 uA @ 25¡C, repeatability of +/- 5 uA @ 25¡C and Accuracy drift with reference to temperature of 50uA max -20..55¡C, 30ppm / ¡C typical. The converted data is save to a 16 bit register in Signed Integer format with range of -32767 to +32768. this analog input module is compatible for receiving signals coming from Transmitters, Indicators, Recorders, Signal Converters, Feedback Devices, Isolators and other signals. Process Variables measured by these instruments are represents as 4-20 mA wherein 4mA pertains to 0% measurement while 20mA indicates 100% measurement. This module may be used in Process and Factory automation for measurement of Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature, Viscosity, Turbidity, pH, Speed, Vibration and many other Process Variables. The 1734sc-IE4CH is boasts of an integrated Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) capability which allow the module to be integrated with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Additionally, The module acts as a HART master, allowing communication with HART field devices. This function enables the module to act as a remote I/O itself. This module has an open type enclosure which means it must be installed, along the entire POINT I/O rack inside an enclosure that offers protection to environmental factors such as Water, dust, dirt, grease and many other. The enclosure must have an internal temperature of -20 to 55¡C (-4 to 131¡F). If natural convection is not sufficient, depending on the environment, cooling or heating systems may be installed with consideration to every POINT I/O moduleÕs Thermal Dissipation as well as other electrical devices installed within the panel. This module uses 1734-TB or 1734-TBS single unit terminal base or terminal base assembly. When installing the module to the terminal base, required keyswitch position is position number 3. Configurable notch filter includes - 60dB point of first notch 47 Hz @ Notch=50/60Hz (default) 45 Hz @ Notch=50Hz 54 Hz @ Notch=60Hz 91 Hz @ Notch=100Hz 109 Hz @ Notch=120Hz 221 Hz @ Notch=240Hz 446 Hz @ Notch=480Hz. The 1734sc-IE4CH offers overload voltage protection with maximum overload voltage of 28.8VDC. It is provided with status indicators such as One (1) green/red module status LED; One (1) green/red network status LED; Two (2) green/red input status LEDs.
