About 1734D-IA8XOW8

The 1734D-IA8XOW8 is a POINTBlock I/O module that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This POINT Block I/O has Eight (8) 120VAC input channels and Eight (8) Relay Output channels. It also has a DeviceNet interface to allow the POINTBlock device to communicate with DeviceNet scanner or DeviceNet enabled controllers for reading and writing I/O data to and from the POINTBlock and installed POINT I/O modules. Supported DeviceNet data transmission speed by this POINTBlock I/O device are 125K, 250K or 500K bits/second. The POINTBlock I/O device is recognized as a DeviceNet in the network. The input channels of this devices operated at a nominal input voltage signals of 120VAC with range of 85-132VAC and input frequency of 47-63 Hz. The minimum ON state voltage of each channel is 65VAC and a maximum OFF state voltage of 43VAC. The relay output channels are Form A contacts, also knows as Normally Open (N.O.) contacts or Single Pole, Single Throw (SPST) switch. The output Voltage range of each output channels are 5-30V dc at 2.0A for resistive load; 48V dc at 0.5A resistive load; 125V dc at 0.25A resistive load; 125V ac at 2.0A resistive load and 240V ac at 2.0A resistive load. The output Current rating at rated load power includes 2A @ 5-30V dc; 0.5A @ 48Vdc; 0.25A @ 125V dc; 2A @ 125V ac and 2A @ 240V ac for resistive loads and 2.0A steady state @ 5-30V dc, L/R - 7ms; 0.5A steady state @ 48V dc, L/R = 7ms; 0.25A steady state @ 125V dc, L/R = 7ms; 2.0A steady state, 15A make @ 125V ac;PF = cos _ = 0.4 and 2.0A steady state, 15A make @ 240V ac, PF = cos _ = 0.4 for Inductive loads. The output Power ratings are 250W max for 125V ac resistive loads; 480W max for 240V ac resistive loads; 60W max for 28.8V dc resistive loads; 24W max for 48V dc resistive loads; 31W max for 125V dc resistive loads; 250VA max for 125V ac inductive loads; 480VA max for 240V ac inductive loads; 60VA max for 28.8V dc inductive loads; 24VA max for 48V dc inductive loads and 31VA max for 125V dc inductive loads. The 1734D-IA8XOW8 has a Pointbus Output Current of 1A max @ 5V ac output with DeviceNet current requirement of 95mA maximum for POINTBlock; 350mA for maximum with expansion of 12 POINT I/O modules. This module has One (1) Module Status; One (1) Network Status; Sixteen (16) yellow I/O status indicators wherein Eight (8) are for the individual input channels and another Eight (8) for the output channels. Use Solid or Stranded copper wire when terminating signal devices with wire size range of 14 AWG (2.5mm2) - 22 AWG (0.25mm2). Insulation thickness must not be greater than 3/64 inch (1.2mm) and temperature rating of 75 Degree Celsius or higher.
The Allen-Bradley 1734D-IA8XOW8 is a POINTBlock combination module. This module has Eight (8) 85-132VAC, 47-63Hz input channels and Eight (8) Relay output channels. It has an integrated DeviceNet communication interface and a wiring block that uses cage clamp connections.
