The 1734-TBCJC is a packaged unit that is composed of a 1734-RTBCJC, that is an Eight (8) terminal screw type terminal. It also includes a mounting base where the 1734-IT21 is installed. The mounting base provides the installation location of the POINT I/O module and enables the module to connect to the backplane where it draws power to energize itself. Aside from the mounting base and Removable Terminal Block, the wiring base assembly also has the Mechanical Keying, RTB removal handle, interlocking side pieces and DIN rail locking screw. The mechanical keying device is referred to as the keyswitch. The keyswitch can be rotated to position the mechanical key according to the designated position of the module. The RTB handle is provided for faster installation and uninstallation of the Removable Terminal Block. The DIN rail locking screw mounth and licks the mounting base onto the DIN rail to secure installation. Interlocking side pieces are pins located at the side of the mounting base used to establish connection to the adjacent mounting base and POINT I/O module. The interlocking side pieces also establishes POINTBus backplane connection that simultaneously function as POINTBus current distribution as well as POINT I/O data highway.
