This Cold Junction Compensation terminal is used with Thermocouple Type B (30É1820 ¡C), C (0É2315 ¡C), E (-270É1000 ¡C), J (-210É1200 ¡C), K (-270É1372 ¡C), N (-270É1300 ¡C), R (-50É1768.1 ¡C), S (-50É1768.1 ¡C) and T (270É400 ¡C). Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) is used with Thermocouple modules only. It compensates the missing voltage signal produced by connection of Two different wires. The lost voltage signal is is due to the reason that the temperature cold end at the instrument is not 0¡C /32¡F. Recommended wire size range for the 1734-RTBCJC is 0.25-2.5 mm2 or 24-14 AWG.
