This module features Four (4) analog output channels capable, configurable for 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA output current signals. The 1734-OE4C current output module or any current output module are typically used for implementing modulating control actions to Final Control Elements (FCE) whether in manual or automatic mode. Such FCE devices include modulating valves, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Dampers, and Louvers. It may also be used with receiving elements such as indicators, recorders and data loggers. In some applications, the module may be used with isolators for noise and signal interference removal and signal converters to convert the signal to another form. The moduleÕs internal digital to analog signal converter has a conversion rate of 1 _s with an output resolution is 16 bits Ð over 0É21 mA 0.32 _A/cnt, in signed integer format. It has an absolute accuracy of 0.4% (0.1% if calibrated) along an accuracy drift of <50 ppm/¡C. The 1734-OE4C does not function without a mounting base, removable terminal block and communication adapters. This module must be installed to a mounting base to connect the module to the POINTBus backplane to energize the moduleÕs circuitry. The moduleÕs required keyswitch is position number 4. The removable Terminal Blocks (RTB) is used to provide signal wire interface to establish connection to FCE devices. Recommended wire size range is 0.25É2.5 mm2 (22...14 AWG).
