The Allen-Bradley 1734-OE2V is a POINT I/O component module. This module is an analog output module that is used to drive Final Control Elements (FCE) such as modulating valve, motorized actuators, Variable Speed Drives (VSD), Dampers and Louvers. It may also be used to re-transmit signals to analog indicators, data loggers or recorders, metering devices, single loop controllers, isolators, signals converters and other devices. The 1734-OE2V features Two (2) non-isolated, voltage sourcing outputs with configurable output ranges of 0-10V and +/- 10V. The output channels are integrated with individual analog to digital converter with conversion resolution of 14 bits (13 plus sign) 1.28 mV/cnt in unipolar or bipolar mode, formatted as Signed Integer. The absolute accuracy of the module is 0.1% full scale @ 25 ¡C with accuracy drift of 5 ppm/¡C and step response of 24 _s. This analog output module requires an external DC voltage supply of 10...28.8V DC with nominal supply of 24VDC. The required supply current of the module is 35 mA @ 24V DC, including outputs @ 3 mA. The moduleÕs isolation voltage rating is 50V Continuous, tested to withstand 2200V DC for 60 s. It has no isolation between individual channels. The moduleÕs POINTBus current requirement is 75 mA @ 5V DC with power dissipation of 1.0 W and thermal dissipation of 3.4 BTU/hr. The module requires installation to mounting base or terminal base assemblies with part numbers 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TB3, 1734-TB3S,1734-TOP, or 1734-TOPS. These components allow the module to connect to the POINT I/O bus and interface via the mounting base with keyswitch position 4 and connect to Final Control Elements (FCE) via Removable Terminal Blocks (RTB) through signal wiring. Required terminal base screw torque is 0.6 Nm (7 lb-in). Recommended wire size 0.25É2.5 mm2 (22...14 AWG), solid or stranded copper wire with insulation rating of 75 ¡C (167 ¡F) or greater. The moduleÕs physical dimension is 56 x 12 x 75.5 mm or 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 in. The moduleÕs weight is 36 g (1.27 oz). The module has One (1) green/red LED intended to report the module status, One (1) green/red for network status and Two (2) green/red output status indicators. Install the module inside an enclosure that provides adequate protection to foreign materials such as dust, dirt, grease and water splash. Additionally, maintain the temperature within the enclosure at the required operating temperature range of -20É55 ¡C (-4É131 ¡F) and maximum surrounding air temperature of 55 ¡C (131 ¡F). Install climate control devices such as heater or cooler, whichever is applicable. The module assembly is installed to a DIN rail. Use a Yellow chromated or zinc plated DIN rail to ensure continuous grounding connection. Prevent using DIN rails made from non-conductive or poor conductive material.
