The converted is stored in a 16-bit register with a Signed Integer format and range of -32767 to +32768. The module has an internal overload protection at 28.8VDC. This analog input module may be used in a wide variety of application whether in the factory or process automation industry. It allows process variables such as Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature, Speed, Viscosity, Turbidity, pH, Conductivity, Resistivity, Vibration and other process variables to be integrated to a PLC or PAC based control system. Compatible instruments that are typical sources of Current signals are transmitters indicators, recorders, signal converters, isolators and signal conditioners. This module supports Four (4) wire and Two (2) wire transmitters. The 1734-IE8C has embedded indicators such as Module status indicator, Network Status Indicator and individual channel status indicator. The channels status indicator reports the current mode and state of the channels individually whether in CAL mode, calibration being carried out, No power or experiencing a major channel fault, out of range and Normally operating. Compatible terminal bases for this module are 1734-TB, 1734-TBS and keyswitch position of 3. The module has a POINTBus current requirement of 75 mA with Power Dissipation of 0.6 W @ 28.8V DC and Thermal Dissipation of 2.0 BTU/hr @ 28.8V DC. While Step Response are 60 ms @ Notch = 50 Hz; 50 ms @ Notch = 60 Hz as the default setting; 30 ms @ Notch = 100 Hz; 25 ms @ Notch = 120 Hz; 15 ms @ Notch = 200 Hz; 12.5 ms @ Notch = 240 Hz; 10 ms @ Notch = 300 Hz; 7.5 ms @ Notch = 400 Hz; and 6.25 ms @ Notch = 480 Hz.
