The MicroLogix 1400 products are compact and small controllers ideally used in automation of industrial applications such as material handling, packaging, HVAC and building automation, Water and Waste Water, manufacturing and other applications. The 1766-L32BWA features embedded Input and output channels amounting to Twelve (12) Fast 24V DC Inputs, Eight (8) standard 24VDC inputs and Twelve (12) Relay outputs. The High-speed inputs support fast switching devices with rated frequency of 100 kHz. Available noise filters are 0.500 that exhibits maximum ON delay of 0.439 ms and maximum OFF delay of 0.499 ms. Other filter and corresponding signal delay settings are 1.000 ms with 0.964 ms and 0.470 ms ON and OFF delays; 2.000 ms for 1.864 ms and 1.990 ms; 4.000 ms with corresponding delays of 3.964 ms and 3.790 ms; 8.000 ms with 7.564 ms and 7.690 and 16.000 with signal delays of 15.964 ms. and 14.890 ms. The fast input channels has more filter settings with selectable options ranging from 0.005 ms - 16.000 ms with maximum ON delay ranging from 0.005 ms - 15.668 ms and signal OFF delay ranging from 0.005 ms - 15.604 ms. This controller has internal 20KB memory which is partitioned for 10KB user program and 10KB program data. This memory accepts user-defined program for execution of the processor. It also has an internal 128KB for data logging and 64KB allocated for recipe. The controller is also provided with an internal Real-Time clock for implementing schedule actuations of electrical loads. The 1766-L32BWA is built with multiple communication channels including One (1) isolated combo channel which supports RS232/RS485 configuration, One (1) non-isolated RS232 communication port and One (1) Ethernet I/P port. Supported communication protocols are DF1, DH485, ASCII, DNP3 Serial, DNP3 Ethernet, MODBUS RTU, MODBUS Ethernet, and ASCII protocol. The 1766-L32BWA is also installed with a pair of trim potentiometers, accessible via the controllerÕs installed LED screen with keypad. This local interface supports I/O monitoring, serial and Ethernet communication configuration, Trim Potentiometer modification, fault diagnostics and other parameter configuration actions. This controller is mounted using a DIN rail or directly to a mounting plate. Ensure proper grounding is observed to eliminate noise which may affect the performance of the embedded I/O channels.
