The 1761-L32AWA is a MicroLogix 1000 Controller that features Twenty (20) discrete inputs operating at 79-132 VAC voltage range, Ten (10) Triac outputs operating at 85-264 VAC voltage range, and Two (2) Relay outputs operating at 24-125VDC and 120/240 VAC. It has One (1) RS232 port with 8-Pin mini DIN physical port that is configurable for DF1 protocol. The ON-state input voltage range is 79-132VAC while the OFF state voltage range is 0-20VAC. Each channel exhibits a signal delay of 20ms. The minimum ON-state current of each channels is 5.0 mA at 79V AC @ 47 Hz, maximum ON-state current is 16.0 mA at 132V AC @ 63 Hz and nominal ON-state current is 12.0 mA at 120V AC @ 60 Hz. Filter adjustments are configured in groups particularly channels 0 -1, channels 2-3 and channels 4 to last input channel. The Triac Outputs are designed for a maximum continuous Current per point of 0.5 A @ 55 ¡C (131 ¡F) or 1.0 A @ 30 ¡C (86 ¡F) while the continuous Current per common is 6A. The minimum ON-state Current of this controller is 10.0 mA while the maximum off-state leakage current is 2 mA at 132V AC or 4.5 mA at 264V AC. Maximum ON signal delay of 8.8 ms at 60 Hz or 10.6 ms at 50 Hz while the OFF signal delay 11.0 ms. The relay outputs have different contact ratings depending on the operating voltage. at 24VDC, the continuous current per channels is 2.0A while 1.0A at 125VDC. For AC voltage operation, the continuous current is 2.5A for both 120 and 240VAC. The continuous current per common is rated at 8.0A while rated signal delay is 10 ms. The integrated memory of this controller is 1KB EEPROM memory. This memory type is capable of retaining its data without the use of a backup battery. It has an allocation of approximately 737 instruction words and 437 data words. This controller does not require a battery and expansion module. The controllerÕs scan time is 2ms and I/O scan time of 0.21ms. It is powered by a 85-264VAC source voltage range. The RS232 communication port supports DF1 protocol configurable for 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 9600, and 19200 baud rate. This port can be directly use with programming workstation and Hand-Held terminals, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Data Loggers, recorders and indicators. RS232 is only capable or relatively a short distance with theoretical applicable length of 15 meters. Additionally, the longer the cable, the configured baud rate must be set to lower speeds. A noticeable delay may be observed when using a lower baud rate setting. To maximize the use of the integrated communication channel, the RS232 port may use Allen-Bradley Advanced Interface Converters (AIC) such as 17610NET-AIC for DH485, 17610NET0DNI for DeviceNet and 1671-NET-ENI or 1761-NET-ENIW for Ethernet network communication.
