The Allen-Bradley 1761-L20BWB-5A is a MicroLogix 1000 Controller. The 1761-L20BWB-5A is a compact Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that belongs to the MicroLogix 1000 product family. Typical use of analog output includes modulation of analog actuators such as valve positioners, Adjustable Frequency Drives (VFD) and devices such as converters for signal conversion, data loggers or recorders for historization, isolators to eliminate noise and other applicable functions. The 1761-L1620BWB-5A has a physical RS232 communication channel via the 8-pin mini DIN terminal. Compatible cables for this channel varies depending on length and use. Specifically, this cables are 1761-CBL-HM02, 1761-CBL-AM00, 1761-CBL-AP00, and 1747-CP3 for connection to an Advanced Interface Converter (AIC). Additionally, it may be used to interface converters such as 1761-NET-AIC, 1761-NET-DNi, 1761-NET-ENI or 1761-NET-ENIW.
