About 1761-L10BXB

The MicroLogix 1000 controller with part number 1761-L10BXB is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is designed for automation of small applications. This controller is manufactured by Allen-Bradley that is capable of high-speed processing within a compact assembly. The 1761-L10BXB features embedded Input and Output channels which consists of Six (6) 24VDC inputs, Two (2) Relay outputs and Two (2) MOSFET outputs. It is also fitted with a single high-speed input that supports integration of discrete signal with switching frequency of 6.6 kHz. The input channels ON state voltage range is 14 - 26.4 VDC @ 55 Deg. Celsius while 14 - 30.0 VDC @ 30 Deg. Celsius. The OFF-state voltage on the other hand is 0 - 5VDC. These input channels are standard input channels with operating frequency of 1.0kHz. The input delays are typical to ON to OFF and OFF to ON signal transitions with time settings of 0.5 - 16 ms. Input delays are used to eliminate false triggering due to environmental and mechanical conditions mostly. The High-speed input is ideal for use in integrating fast switching discrete devices such as high speed counters or sensors in the manufacturing or factory automation applications. Pulse outputs from transmitters for totalizing functions may also be integrated to this input channel. Instruments providing this high-speed output signal are typically installed in process automation applications. The ON state and OFF-state voltage of this input channels is similar to the stahdard inputs except that the operating frequency is 6.6 kHz. The outputs are provided in Two (2) types, which are MOSFET and Relay outputs. MOSFET outputs are output channels that provide 24VDC sourcing voltage while the Relay output are Form A contacts which are Normally Open (N.O) contacts. The operating voltage range of the MOSFET output is 20.4 - 26.4 VDC with continuous Current per point that varies according temperature such as 1.0A @ 55 Deg. Celsius and 1.5 A @ 30 Deg. Celsius. The relay output channels are dry contact outputs that may be operated in 5 - 125VDC and 5 - 264 VAC. Each contact is capable of 2.0A for 24VDC, 1.0A for 125VDC, 2.5A for 120VAC / 240VAC continuous Current. The 1761-L10BXB is powered by an external nominal voltage supply of 24VDC with operating range of 20.4 - 26.4 VDC. This controller is also fitted with One (1) RS232 8-Pin mini DIN communication channel that allows the controller to be connected in peer-to-peer or networked configuration. Peer-to-peer is achieved by setting the supported protocol to DF1, Full or Half Duplex, while network connection can be made by setting the protocol to MODBUS RTU slave or conversion of the DF1 protocol with the use of Allen-Bradley external interface converters such as 1761-NET-ENI or 1761-NET-ENIW for Ethernet, 1761-NET-DNI for DeviceNet and 1761-NET-AIC for DH485 network. The pre-allocated memory of the 1761-L10BWB amounts to 1KB. This memory area comprises of 737 instruction words and 437 data words, approximately.
The Allen-Bradley 1761-L10BXB is a MicroLogix 1000 Controller. This controller is designed for Power Supply input voltage of 24VDC with embedded Six (6) 24VDC discrete inputs, Two (2) Relay, Two (2) MOSFET Outputs with One (1) 6.6 kHz High-Speed input channel. This controller has One (1) RS232 8-Pin mini DIN communication port that supports DF1, MODBUS slave protocol.

PDFsupply Tech

The 1761-L10BXA is a MicroLogix 1000 Programmable Logic Controller that is powered with 24VDC. The main difference of this controller to other L10xxx controllers is that the output channels of this controller are divided into Two (2) types, specifically, Two (2) relays and Two (2) MOSFET or 24VDC outputs. It offers an advantage as it can be used with a mixed type of electrical loads.
