The 1794sc-IRT8I Flex I/O input module from Allen-Bradley is an 8-channel input module. More specifically, the 1794sc-IRT8I input module is a thermocouple and RTD input module that is made to function as part of a complete Flex I/O input module system. The 8 inputs on the 1794sc-IRT8I input module are all completely isolated and they all have RTD/resistance which makes them ideal for use in noisy environments. All 8 of the inputs on this module can support 22 different input types that are individually programmable and protected by open-circuit detection features and high and low alarms. Any combination of the different inputs can be used at a time. The 1794sc-IRT8I input module also supports the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation TechConnect technology.
The Allen-Bradley 1794sc-IRT8I Flex I/O input module is CE certified, UL/cUL listed, and rated for safe operation and full functionality in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D types of industrial environments.
