The 1794-IF4IXT module is a FLEX I/O series isolated analog input module that has been designed by Allen-Bradley and included in the FLEX I/O series of isolated analog input modules. This specific module has been designed to make it possible to expand the functionality of PLCs by providing different inputs and the ability to connect additional input equipment. This module has been approved to operate safely in hazardous locations according to the North American Hazardous Location standards and requirements. The Allen-Bradley 1794-IF4IXT FLEX I/O isolated input analog module has an easy installation process, although it is recommended that it be performed by an expert technician. The module needs to be firmly pressed into the terminal base and the flex bus connector needs to be pushed all the way in and the pins on the bottom of the module need to be straight.
