About 1794-TB3G

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation manufactures the 1794-TB3G Terminal Base Unit as a Flex I/O terminal base unit. This terminal base unit is installed using a DIN rail or panel, and it also provides the connection points for an I/O module’s input and output wiring. The unit comes with a maximum of 36 I/O terminal points with 2 voltage terminals and 2 common terminals. Additionally, this module features 10 chassis ground terminals, and it is designed to be used with applications rated at 10 Amps of current and 31.2 Volts DC voltage. This terminal base unit offers input and output terminations through a grounded screw clamp and it comes with 0.56 to 0.79 N-m of terminal screw torque. Various input and output modules connect to the I/O bus in a Flex I/O system via the Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3G Terminal Base Unit, and it also has a Flexbus current rating of 640 milliamps at 5 Volts DC with a maximum I/O terminal current rating of 2 Amps.

The Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3G Terminal Base Unit has a communication terminal voltage rating of 125 Volts DC/AC, with a current rating of 10 Amps at 50/60 Hertz frequency. It provides a maximum voltage isolation rating of 50 Volts (continuous) through the basic insulation type which is tested for 1 minute at 2121 volts DC between the Flexbus and field wiring terminals. The Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3G Terminal Base Unit works with the 24 to 16 AWG stranded copper wire with a temperature rating of 75 degrees Celsius. This unit operates without derating in an environmental temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius and with a non-condensing relative humidity range of 5 to 95 percent. The storage temperature rating for this terminal base unit ranges between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. The unit is intended to help retain the standard functions of the whole Flex I/O system with an operating shock of 30 g.

The Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3G Flex I/O Terminal Base Unit has a terminal screw torque of 0.56 to 0.79 N-m. It also comes with a supply voltage of 31.2 Volts DC/AC, a frequency of 50/60 Hertz, and current of 10 Amps.
