The 1794-OV16P Output Module is a protected sink output module manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It belongs to the Flex I/O 1794 series and it has 16 non-isolated sinking outputs in a single group of 16. This module can be installed on the 1794-TB3 and 1794-TB3S terminal bases. The output current rating of the Allen-Bradley 1794-OV16P output module is 8 Amps and it has 16 outputs, each rated at 0.5 Amps. It comes with protected output-points, and electronic protection that turns off the module if there is an overload, short-circuit, or high-temperature condition. This module can automatically recover from shutdowns upon the removal of the faults, which means the fault status is not passed on to the processor. This module comes with approximate dimensions of 1.8 x 3.7 x 2.1 inches and a tolerable relative humidity range of 5 to 95% (non-condensing).
